New Beginnings Initiative

is an Ex-offender Re-entry Job Readiness program for juvenile offenders. Eligible participants must be between the ages of 16-21 and referred from a program partner including Orleans Parish Youth Study Center, Orleans Parish Juvenile Court, Orleans Parish Criminal Court and CASA-New Orleans. 

L.I.F.E. (Learning Important skills for Everyday)

Life skills training equips people with the social and interpersonal skills that enable them to cope with the demands of everyday life. The objectives of this training are to build self-confidence, encourage critical thinking, foster independence and help youth to communicate more effectively.

Y.E.S. (Youth Empowerment Series)

The Youth Education Series is a 4-week education program targeting females ages 15-19 with a focus on self-discovery, sex education, including: abstinence (encouraging them not to have sex), encouraging them to use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy, along with condoms to protect against sexually transmitted diseases.
